For the Valley Vision

Sunday's message was all about our For The Valley Vision Series. Over the next four weeks, we’ll continue to share the elements of the vision, how they tie into our pillars, and what we believe God wants to do through us as a church to impact our valley.

We’re praying for 100% engagement and wholehearted commitment from our entire church family.

If you have any questions about our future building plans or would like to contribute towards Veneration's future permanent facility, please contact the church office at building@venerationchurch.com or (406) 201-7973.

For the valley commitment cards

We’re praying for 100% engagement and wholehearted commitment from our entire church family during our For the Valley journey.

For the Valley Journal

As we begin the For the Valley Vision series, our desire is that this journal serves as both an encouragement and an invitation—an invitation to reflect on what God is doing and calling you to do through this series. We have included a daily devotional to spend time with God, a place to take notes during our weekly sermons, and a place to reflect on what God is saying through your time with your D-Group.

Vision Letter from Pastor Luke

Veneration Family,

What God has done in 5 years through Veneration Church is nothing short of a miraculous move of His Spirit. This church has
defied statistics, probabilities, and expectations, and this is not going to stop now. We are unapologetically a movement for
all people to meet and walk with Jesus, and God has blessed this church in undeniable ways.

It is an absolute honor to walk on the mountain tops and in the valleys of life with you, and there is no one else that I would
rather serve alongside. We have been enlisted and sent out together to be the hands and feet of the One who is able to
restore, redeem, forgive, and completely satisfy. To live on mission with the One who can breathe life into bones lying on the
valley floor. This moment was set on the timeline of history far before our feet touched this valley, that we would rise and
bring the message of hope to the hopeless and healing to the broken. The time is now for an army of believers to fall to our
knees and rise to our feet for a cause so much larger than ourselves. A cause that brings light into dark places and joy to
those who thought it was impossible.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is the FOR THE VALLEY Vision just about a building?
No. We are asking God to use this series to draw people in the Valley to Himself. We see this vision as the beginning of a movement of God that, 10 years from now, we will look back on with awe at all He has done.
Can we afford the FOR THE VALLEY Vision?
Yes. The leaders of Veneration believe God has already set us on a path where He will provide the resources needed for both the building and the broader vision. We are praying for 100% engagement in this vision and for a spirit of generosity in our church.
What will it cost to resource the FOR THE VALLEY Vision?
The building is estimated to cost between $8.5–$9 million. The combined ministry budget for 2026–2027 and 2027–2028 is projected to be $3.5–$4 million.
Will Veneration take on debt for the building?
Our desire is to avoid taking on any debt for the building. We are asking God to provide all the resources needed and are believing that He will. However, the church’s leaders are willing to take on debt if it becomes necessary to accomplish the vision.
Can we build the building in phases as resources come in?
Yes. We have designed the building so that, if needed, it can be constructed in phases. Our prayer is that God will provide everything required so we can start and finish the building without delay.
Will the building only be used for weekend church services?
No. We want this building to be a tool in the Valley to see people saved and discipled. Our prayer is that it will also help us put into action the four pillars of Veneration: Prayer, the Word, Worship, and Serve.
How can I give?
You can give in many different ways: one-time gifts by check or credit card, multi-year pledges, online giving, stock transfers, donor-advised funds, or estate gifts. Please reach out to us directly with any questions about giving.
When will we break ground on the building?
We are currently in the permit phase of the building process. We hope to have all permits by the end of May 2026 at the latest. Once we have the permits, we will break ground.

Building Highlights

This is just a small overview of what God has been leading our leadership towards as we seek Him about what we are to use this building for. We know this building is not just for Sundays. We see it as a tool that God is giving us through your generosity to reach the Flathead Valley and the ends of the earth with the Gospel.  We have more details and designs to complete, and we will be creating Work Groups to help with them.  If you have questions or comments, please email us at building@venerationchurch.com
Main Floor Lobby Area
We have designed a very open and spacious lobby that can be adjusted for multiple uses including:
Coffee Bar that can be served from the inside as well as the front patio. The coffee bar also has the potential to include a kitchen space.
Prayer/Decision room.
Furniture and fixtures that can be moved to accommodate multiple events.
Building entry that admits as much light as possible into the lobby.
Staircase and elevator leading to the second floor
Kids Area
The kids’ area will be fully secured with a great check-in station. It is located right off the Lobby area for easy access and will include:
Indoor play area with a glass wall visible from the lobby.  We designed this so that moms can bring their kids to play during the week and enjoy coffee in the lobby.
4 rooms for infants to toddlers. These rooms will be equipped with sinks and everything necessary to provide a safe and fun visit for your children.
A sensory room designed for kids with special needs who need a space for supervised alone time to decompress.
Large meeting area where our kids will learn to worship, have Bible study time, play games, and more.
2 Smaller meeting areas. This space can be used as a single larger area or divided into two rooms.
Kids bathrooms that are accessible only from within the kids’ area.
Conference/Classrooms
This area is off the lobby and can be used as one open space or 3 individual rooms. We have designed this area for discipleship classes, leader training, funerals, weddings, and other events. This area includes:
Access to the coffee bar and the future kitchen.
A roll-up glass door that looks out towards the mountains, making the space suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
Audio and video needs for events.
Worship Center
The Worship area will seat between 650 and 900 in chairs, depending on the layout. The space can also be filled with tables and chairs making it an ideal location for conferences, Beast Feast, leader development, and much more. This area will include:
Cry Room located at the back of the worship center, a room where moms can feed, change diapers, and calm their babies.  It will have one-way glass into the worship center so mothers can experience the service live.
The audiovisual will feature an LED wall on the stage, along with a high-quality sound and lighting system.
Second Floor - Students Area
This area will be a place for our Students to hang out, host small groups, play games, and more.  We are still in the process of designing this area.
Second Floor - Office Space
We will also have our staff offices on the second floor.
